  12.                         TO PLAY PLACE THIS SCENERIO
  13.          1. PLACE THE .SC2 FILE IN YOUR HARPOON SUB-DIRECTORY.
  14.          2. LOAD THE HARPOON GAME AND SELECT THE NACV BATTLESET.
  15.          3. LOAD A PRE-SUPPLIED HARPOON SCENERIO FROM THREE-SIXTY.
  16.          4. ONCE PLAY BEGINS SELECT <ALT-F1> AND SELECT BISMARCK.

  18. 17.1 BACKGROUND: Promises of Soviet reform and military cutbacks have left
  19.                  the United States unprepared for the out brake of war in
  20.                  Europe. Kelflavik has been captured and now lies in Soviet
  21.                  control. As the Russian blitzkrieg rolls across NATO forces
  22.                  and the Rhine America tries to rearm her European Allies.
  23.                  Long thought hibernating the Bear is loose, US convoys are
  24.                  now rushing to Europe. Seeing the opportunity to win the war
  25.                  in Europe by destroying these convoys the Soviets have sent
  26.                  out a large surface fleet to destroy the much needed supplies.

  28. 17.2 BLUE ORDERS: Protect the convoys on their way to Brest, France and 
  29.                   attempt to neutralize the Soviet fleet.

  31. 17.3 INTELLIGENCE BRIEF: A stealth recon flight has taken photographs of
  32.                  a very large number of Soviet warships steaming in
  33.                  formation heading west of Iceland. Your forces for
  34.                  opposing this threat include the recently commissioned
  35.                  Seawolf, first of her class,as well as the aircraft carrier
  36.                  Theodore Rosevelt. Which has just been with called back from
  37.                  duty in the Med.

  40. 17.4 MINIMUM CONDITIONS: Destroy eight Soviet warships.

  51. 17.3 INTELLIGENCE BRIEF: The chance for victory in Europe is at hand. By
  52.                  destroying the capitalist ships we will be able to deny
  53.                  them reinforcement and the road to victory will be open.

  55.                  just finished crossing through the straight of Gilbralter
  56.                  be wary of this group but do not lose sight of the main
  57.                  objective.
